Springdale graduate shines in nursing journey

During a recent government meeting, the focus was on the success stories emerging from Springdale High School, particularly highlighting the journey of Diana Martinez, a 2023 graduate now pursuing a nursing degree at Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC).

Martinez shared her experiences, emphasizing how the Medical Academy at Springdale High School equipped her with essential skills and certifications, including PCA and CPR, which gave her a competitive edge in her nursing studies. She noted that classes like medical terminology were instrumental in her preparation for college-level coursework.

Currently working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Betterfield Trail, Martinez expressed her commitment to giving back to the community post-graduation, aiming to invest in others just as Springdale invested in her education.
