One local resident described ongoing problems with trespassers cutting through his pastures, damaging fences, and leaving gates open, which has resulted in his cattle roaming freely. Another resident, Ella Peebles, reported a sewer backup in her home that required emergency plumbing services. She explained that the backup was caused by city infrastructure issues, specifically malfunctioning lift stations. Peebles requested a waiver on her water bill, citing the financial burden of the plumbing repairs, which amounted to $433.

Jeremy Melkor, a nearby resident, shared his frustrations regarding crime in the area, including a recent break-in where items were stolen from his truck. He urged city officials to consider measures to enhance security, such as barricades or streetlights, to deter criminal activity. Melkor has taken personal steps to protect his property, including installing a camera system and fencing his yard.
