Community mourns loss of beloved Aventura city leader

During a heartfelt tribute at the recent Aventura City Commission meeting, community members gathered to honor the late Commissioner Michael, who served the city with dedication and passion. The meeting was attended by current and former city officials, including Mayor Howard Weinberg, as well as representatives from neighboring cities and local organizations.

He played a pivotal role in organizing the first graduation car parade in May 2020, ensuring that students could celebrate their achievements despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. Additionally, he was instrumental in creating a Halloween Haunted House at the government center, providing a safe alternative for families during a time when traditional trick-or-treating was not possible.
