During a recent government meeting, key announcements were made regarding upcoming events focused on mental health awareness. Grace Lopez from the Royal College highlighted two significant events scheduled for September. The first, in observance of Royal Suicide Awareness Day, will take place on September 10th from 10 AM to 1 PM at the KC Center. Lopez encouraged community members interested in participating with booths to reach out via her email.

Additionally, the meeting noted that the South Campus will host a second event on September 11th, ensuring that both events do not overlap. Another important date mentioned was September 8th, which marks the inaugural 988 Day, celebrating the national mental health crisis hotline. These initiatives aim to raise awareness and provide support for mental health issues within the community.
