McLeod, a junior, expressed pride in her achievements, particularly her recent qualification for state competition, a goal she has pursued throughout her high school years. “It means a lot to not only myself, but also my family,” she stated, emphasizing the personal significance of her success.

Harper began playing golf during the COVID-19 pandemic, finding solace in the sport when other activities were limited. With her father as her first coach, she developed a passion for the game, which she now encourages other students to explore. “This is a sport you can play your entire life,” she urged, inviting both boys and girls to join their respective teams.
