Niwot High School boys cross country team wins historic 5A state title with record low score

The St. Vrain Valley School District Board of Education celebrated a historic achievement during their regular meeting on January 8, 2025, as they recognized the boys' cross country team for winning the 5A state title for the first time in school history. This milestone was particularly significant as it marked the team's successful transition from 4A to 5A competition, a decision made with confidence by the coaching staff.

The team's performance was highlighted by their impressive scoring, which ranks among the lowest in 5A history, showcasing their dominance throughout the season.
