Mesquite Works STEAM Center plans block party to support underprivileged children

In the heart of Mesquite, the Virgin Valley Community Education Advisory Board gathered on December 12, 2024, to celebrate community achievements and discuss upcoming events that promise to uplift local families. The atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm as board members reflected on recent initiatives that brought joy to children in need.

Denise, a standout contributor, was praised for her efforts in organizing a successful distribution of holiday treats. Despite some initial shortages, the team managed to pack and distribute over 970 bags filled with goodies, ensuring that students across the school received a festive surprise. The meeting also spotlighted a recent golf tournament that raised funds for the Angel Tree and Toys for Joy programs.
