Colonel Walsh shared a powerful account of a doctor from the 105th Infantry, who displayed extraordinary courage during a Japanese bonsai attack. Despite being wounded 23 times, the doctor fought valiantly, ultimately losing his life while defending his position. This tribute underscored the critical role of machine gunners and the immense challenges faced by soldiers in combat.
