Bresnahan School secures $175K grant to enhance playful learning for pre-K to third grade

A groundbreaking initiative is set to transform early education in Newburyport, as the Bresnahan School embarks on an 18-month project funded by a $175,000 Playful Learning Grant. Under the leadership of Principal Jamie Sokolowski, a dedicated team of 17 teachers will explore innovative teaching methods that emphasize learning through play for students in pre-kindergarten to third grade.

The grant, which is part of a broader educational philosophy, aims to integrate playful opportunities into the existing curriculum.
