WHEREAS, the Kentucky Senate wishes to honor President Carter's remarkable life and contributions to society;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the Senate of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The Senate does hereby adjourn in honor and loving memory of former President Jimmy Carter.
