Lehi Council approves $46M Wesley Life expansion for independent living units

The project is expected to generate approximately $270,000 in new operating revenue, contributing positively to the local economy.

The URA will allow for the segregation of funds, facilitating the financing of publicly dedicated improvements such as roads and utilities, while clarifying that building improvements will not be funded through this mechanism.

Commission members expressed their support for the project, highlighting the extensive time and resources already invested in bringing it to this stage. The meeting also noted that the local school district was contacted regarding the project but did not attend, indicating that the expansion is not expected to negatively impact local schools.
