Coconut Creek celebrates city birthday with Butterfly Festival featuring Kenny Chesney and fireworks

The City of Coconut Creek is gearing up for its annual Butterfly Festival, which doubles as the city's birthday celebration. Scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2025, the event will take place at Sable Pine Park from 2 PM to 8:30 PM.

Mayor Sandra Welch announced the festival during a recent government meeting, highlighting a variety of activities planned for attendees. The festival will feature a business expo, canine demonstrations, and a circus dog show, promising entertainment for all ages.

A major highlight of this year's festival will be a tribute concert headlined by country music star Kenny Chesney. Attendees are encouraged to wear their country western attire to join in the festive spirit. The event will conclude with a spectacular Zambelli fireworks display, adding to the celebratory atmosphere.
