City Council welcomes new commissioner Gail Hoff and sets 2025 meeting dates

The Davenport City Historic Preservation Commission meeting on December 10, 2024, focused on administrative updates and welcomed a new member.

The meeting began with the approval of the minutes from the previous meeting held on November 12, 2024. The minutes were unanimously approved after a motion and second were made.

Commissioner Matt introduced Gail Hoff as the newest member of the commission, filling the vacancy left by Diane Franken. The commission expressed enthusiasm for her addition to the team.

Additionally, the commission reviewed the 2025 meeting schedule, confirming that meetings will continue to be held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers. The only exception will be in November, when the meeting will take place on Monday, November 10, due to Veterans Day.

No old business was discussed, and the meeting moved directly into new business. The session concluded with a focus on future planning and collaboration among commission members.
