The Littlestown Area School District celebrated its outstanding students during the December 9, 2024, regular meeting, recognizing exemplary achievements across various grade levels.

Noah, a student from Halloway Creek, was honored for his positive attitude and leadership qualities. Described as a role model, Noah received the Core Valuable Award for self-control and the EASA High Fire Award. His aspirations to become a police officer reflect his commitment to community service, making him a valued member of the school.

Lana Schultz, a third grader in Miss Collins' class, was also recognized as Student of the Month. Lana's dedication to learning and her willingness to help others exemplify the core values of the school. Her interests include fishing and soccer, and she dreams of becoming a doctor, showcasing her ambition and well-rounded character.

Eighth grader Aiden was celebrated for his kindness and leadership as a member of the student council. His proactive approach to volunteering and his positive influence in group activities highlight his commitment to fostering a supportive school environment. Aiden's dedication extends beyond academics, as he enjoys reading and engaging in creative projects.

High school students Emily Nodemacher and Ian Wilte were acknowledged for their exceptional academic and extracurricular achievements. Emily, a standout in advanced placement courses and a leader in various school organizations, has also excelled in athletics, earning accolades in field hockey and track. Ian, maintaining an impressive academic record while leading the varsity soccer team, has been recognized as a scholar athlete, balancing his studies and sports with remarkable success.
