Republican Women Announce New VP and Upcoming Legislative Events

The WCRW February Luncheon 2024 kicked off with a vibrant atmosphere, thanks to Suzanne's creative Valentine decorations. The meeting, held on February 7, 2025, featured several key announcements, including the appointment of Kristen Crowe as the new third Vice President of the executive board, following Joanne Brinton's departure.

Members were informed of an open position for a member-at-large, a role that serves as a liaison between the board and the members. Attendees were encouraged to express their interest in this position.

Upcoming events were highlighted, including the Lincoln Day celebration scheduled for Saturday, where two seats remain available at the Republican women's table. Additionally, the Utah Federation of Republican Women’s legislative day is set for the following Wednesday, offering members a chance to engage with state legislators and tour the Capitol.

The meeting also announced the United We Pledge gala on February 27, with additional seats available for those interested in attending. Members were reminded to submit questions for the panel discussion and to track their volunteer hours throughout the year.

As the meeting progressed, attendees were led in prayer by chaplain Sharon, followed by a report on membership and a budget approval for the first quarter. The session concluded with an introduction of the panel by Suzanne, setting the stage for an engaging discussion ahead.
