VillageReach expands public health initiatives across Washington State

During the February 6, 2025 meeting of the Information Needs and Data Exchange (INDEX) Committee in Whatcom County, a significant focus was placed on the role of VillageReach, a global public health nonprofit. The organization, which has offices in Seattle and several other countries, is dedicated to enhancing health equity and addressing community needs in Washington State.

VillageReach representatives highlighted their ongoing efforts to provide technical assistance to local health jurisdictions. Since their inception in Washington in 2020, they have worked in various counties, as indicated by the dark blue and gray areas on their presentation slides. This initiative aims to improve public health outcomes by ensuring that local health departments have the necessary resources and support to meet the diverse needs of their communities.
