Regional Planning Commission shifts to MVP health plan for cost savings

During the recent Addison County Regional Planning Commission (ACRPC) meeting on December 11, 2024, a significant discussion centered around changes to employee health insurance plans aimed at reducing costs and enhancing family benefits.

The commission's leadership, represented by April and another member, highlighted the rising costs associated with their current Blue Cross Blue Shield plan. The new MVP plan features a higher deductible but introduces a Health Savings Account (HSA) in place of the previous Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).
