Deltona welcomes Chipotle and Culver's as part of dining expansion

During a recent city manager report, officials unveiled plans for a new Chipotle restaurant, set to open soon at the bustling intersection of Howland Boulevard and Halifax Crossing Boulevard. This 2,600-square-foot establishment will feature an online order drive-through, catering to the growing demand for convenient dining options. Alongside Chipotle, two retail spaces will also be introduced, one measuring 1,190 square feet and the other 2,400 square feet. Nearby, a full-service Culver's restaurant is also on the horizon, boasting two drive-through lanes and a spacious 4,500-square-foot layout.

As the city embraces these new dining options, city officials emphasized the importance of maintaining Deltona's beauty. Ongoing maintenance efforts will continue throughout the city, ensuring that public spaces remain inviting and well-kept for residents and visitors alike.

Community engagement is also a focal point for Deltona, with the Adopt the Street program gaining traction. Sonia Clay Harvey, the program coordinator, reported that 89 individuals and groups have already adopted streets, contributing to cleaner neighborhoods. Participants commit to a minimum of two years, collecting trash along their designated roads, with support from the city in the form of cleanup supplies and recognition.

In addition to beautification efforts, the city is enhancing its services for local businesses. Milton Robles from the business tax office introduced a new online payment system, simplifying the process for business owners to pay their taxes with just a few clicks. This initiative aims to streamline operations and improve accessibility for the business community.
