The department recorded 805 scorable offenses in 2024 — 125 more than the previous year, a rise the chief described as a 19% increase. The department cleared 267 of those offenses, an overall clearance rate of about 33% compared with about 34% the prior year. Total arrests in 2024 were 652, up by about 40 from the previous year.

The chief also provided results from the Flock Safety camera program: 13 arrests, five recovered stolen vehicles, seven recovered stolen license plates and about 48 investigative leads (he said the true number may be slightly higher).
