Wright County Parks opens campground reservations on March 3 with new limits

As the sun rises on March 3, Wright County residents will have the first opportunity to secure their spots for summer camping, with reservations opening at 8 AM. This year, a notable change in the reservation process has been announced, allowing residents to book their favorite campsites before the general public, who can begin making reservations at noon on the same day.

Brad from Wright County Parks and Recreation shared these updates during a recent meeting, emphasizing the importance of being prepared for the new schedule. The online reservation system remains unchanged, ensuring that users can easily navigate to the campground site to check availability and make bookings. However, campers should note a significant modification: the maximum stay has been reduced from 14 nights to just 7 nights, a shift aimed at accommodating more visitors throughout the camping season.

For those interested in unique accommodations, the Bertram campground offers six camper cabins available year-round. These cabins can be booked even in winter, and visitors will receive a special winter welcome gift during their stay.
