Santa Barbara designates 615 East Valerio Street as historic craftsman structure

The Historic Landmarks Commission meeting on February 12, 2025, focused on the designation of a craftsman-style residence at 615 East Valerio Street as a historic structure of merit. The commission reviewed a resolution to formally recognize the property, which was built between 1925 and 1926 and added to the inventory of historic structures in 2014.

The property owner, William Radford, shared his family's long-standing connection to the house, having owned it for over 21 years. He expressed appreciation for the recognition of the home’s historical value.
