The Mississippi House of Representatives recently adopted House Resolution 25, honoring Coach Gregg Perry of Germantown High School for being named the 2023-2024 Mississippi Athletic Administrator of the Year for Classes 5A-7A. Coach Perry, a graduate of Belhaven College and East Central Community College, has dedicated nearly 30 years to education, with 14 years at Germantown High School, where he has served as athletic director for the past four years. Under his guidance, Germantown's men's and women's golf teams have achieved remarkable success, winning multiple state championships and district titles.

Perry's coaching career is marked by numerous accolades, including multiple Coach of the Year honors from various organizations and an induction into the Crossroad Diamond Club Hall of Fame in 2023. His previous coaching stints at Madison Central High School were particularly notable, where he led his baseball teams to nine district championships and two state championships.
