Additionally, a physical education shelter is being built to accommodate PE classes.
The meeting transitioned to the music facilities, showcasing an elementary music room, a middle school music room, and a dedicated band room. The band room is equipped with practice rooms, encouraging sixth and seventh graders to join the band program.
Further developments include a future bus loop and a designated track area, which will also serve as a car line to improve traffic flow around the school. The school is set to offer innovative career technology programs, focusing on pathways in aerospace leading to aviation at Sunlake High School, as well as health sciences that will prepare students for the medical academy.
Electives available at Skybrook K-8 were also highlighted, including fine arts, Spanish, and computer science, allowing students to explore their interests. Families who applied for School Choice will receive acceptance notifications on March 3, with a deadline to confirm by March 12.
