Tazewell County allocates $20K for hurricane disaster relief in agriculture

Tazewell County's Board of Supervisors took significant steps to support local farmers during their regular meeting on January 7, 2025, by approving a disaster relief program and allocating funds for essential agricultural equipment.

The board unanimously approved a $20,000 allocation for storm relief aimed at assisting farmers affected by Hurricane Helene.
