Bartlett Council plans major infrastructure upgrades with traffic detours and trenchless technology

A significant infrastructure project is on the horizon for Mound City, as city officials discussed plans to enhance the stormwater management system during the recent City Council meeting. The proposed upgrades include the installation of a battery backup for sump pumps and the replacement of two critical pipes on Bartlett Boulevard, aimed at improving redundancy and capacity in the area.

City engineers outlined a four-stage project that will begin with urgent work on Bartlett Boulevard, coinciding with the county's scheduled milling and overlay of Highway 110. The project is expected to cause temporary road closures for approximately four to five weeks, with efforts made to maintain access for local residents and businesses.
