KU Board approves changes to qualified admissions criteria for incoming students

The Kansas Board of Regents convened on February 12, 2025, to discuss significant changes to the admissions criteria for state universities, particularly focusing on the University of Kansas (KU). After thorough discussion, the board moved to approve the proposed changes, with Regent Benson making the motion and Regent Mendoza seconding it. The motion passed unanimously, marking a significant shift in the admissions landscape for Kansas universities.
