Meadowview School appoints Jeff Prickett as principal for 2025-2026 school year

The Grayslake Community Consolidated School District 46 Board of Education convened on February 26, 2025, to address key personnel changes and celebrate new leadership within the district. The meeting commenced with acknowledgments of staff efforts during a transitional period, particularly highlighting the contributions of Mr. Milamed and district office administrators who stepped in to fill roles as the district adjusted to new appointments.

A significant focus of the meeting was the approval of Dr. Jeff Prickett as the new principal of Meadowview School for the 2025-2026 school year. The board unanimously approved his appointment following a motion and second from board members. Dr. Prickett, who previously served as principal at McHenry High School District 156 for eight years, was recognized for his extensive experience in educational leadership, including roles at both middle and elementary schools.

Dr. Wolk, a member of the interview panel, praised Dr. Prickett's qualifications, noting his expertise in professional learning communities (PLCs), social-emotional learning (SEL) standards, special education, and multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS).
