Wenatchee Police Department Sergeant Corey Bernash held a press conference to address a serious incident that took place on February 26, 2025. The event involved a firebombing at a trailer located behind a residence on South Mission Street in Wenatchee.
At approximately 1 PM, police responded to a call from a victim who reported that her ex-husband was throwing gas bombs at her trailer. The victim's current boyfriend was present at the scene and required medical attention after being splashed with gasoline. Upon arrival, officers found him outside the trailer, where he described being struck by a mason jar containing a fuse.

Jackson, was seen throwing multiple Molotov cocktails at the trailer, which was occupied by his ex-wife and the boyfriend's mother. Fortunately, all attempts to ignite the firebombs failed. Jackson then attempted to set the trailer on fire by spraying lighter fluid on the awning and manually igniting it, but this also did not succeed.
Jackson was apprehended at the residence without further incident and has been booked at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center. He faces serious charges, including attempted murder, first-degree domestic violence, first-degree assault, and first-degree arson. He remains in custody as of the time of the press release.
