The Apple Valley City Council made significant strides in urban development during its meeting on February 27, 2025, approving multiple resolutions that pave the way for a new McDonald's restaurant and the establishment of a Mixed Use Business Campus (MUBC) zoning district.
The council unanimously passed an ordinance to rezone Outlaw A, Orchard Place Fourth Edition from sand and gravel (SG) to retail business (RB), a move that sets the stage for commercial growth in the area.
