City of Daytona promotes youth sports with T-ball and baseball clinics in March

The City of Daytona Beach is gearing up for an exciting spring season filled with youth sports activities, as highlighted during a recent government meeting. The city is set to host a series of youth baseball and T-ball clinics, providing opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills and engage in team sports.

Registration for T-ball, aimed at children aged 4 to 6, will close in April, with the season running from April 1 through May. The clinics will take place at the Riverside Sports Complex, with a free baseball clinic scheduled for March 3 from 5:30 PM to 6:45 PM for ages 7 to 8, and another for ages 11 to 12 from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM. In addition to T-ball, the city will also host a coed league for older youth, with drafts for ages 7 to 10 and 11 to 12 taking place in March.
