Construction is booming in Calistoga, with several significant projects underway that promise to reshape the community. The highlight of the recent council meeting was the update on multiple developments, showcasing a mix of residential and community-focused initiatives.

At 1506 Grama Street, a multifamily housing project is progressing, featuring 42 market-rate units and 8 affordable units on a 1.9-acre site. Nearby, the Cinnabar Grove project at 2008 Grant Street is also under construction, consisting of single-family homes with built-in accessory dwelling units (ADUs).

A standout project is the Brandon Center, a community and performing arts center at 1407 Third Street. Construction is well underway, and early site tours reveal a promising asset for local culture and events.

The ambitious Calasauga Hills project is making headlines as well. Spanning 88 acres, it will include a resort with hotel units, residences, a restaurant, and an event center. The construction pace is impressive, with a steel structure for the event center already taking shape, offering stunning views of the surrounding vineyards.

Additionally, the Calistoga Motor Lodge is nearing completion on its 39-unit expansion, while the innovative Resiliency Center at 204 Washington Street is wrapping up construction on a community-scale microgrid, set to be one of a kind globally.

Looking ahead, several projects are in the review stage, including Yellow Rose Ranch, which aims to develop 21 units on 46 acres, and Courtham Ranch, a 20-lot subdivision. Both projects are expected to enter the CEQA review process early next year.

The Indian Springs Expansion Project is also on the horizon, proposing a 97-unit resort with various amenities, with plans to submit building permits in the spring of 2025.

These developments reflect Calistoga's commitment to growth and community enhancement, promising to bring new housing options and cultural spaces to the area.
