Junior League of Pensacola honored for community service impact and diaper bank initiatives

The City of Pensacola City Council meeting on January 16, 2025, highlighted the impactful work of the Junior League of Pensacola, an organization dedicated to advancing women's leadership and community service. In 2024 alone, the Junior League contributed nearly 10,000 volunteer hours to various community projects.

The meeting also featured a public forum where citizens voiced concerns. One speaker, Stan McDaniels, a congressional candidate, raised issues regarding delays in public records requests from the Pensacola Police Department, citing staffing shortages as a potential liability for the city.
