Somerville committee recommends promotions for Galvin, Kachuk, and Bellini in fire department

The Somerville City Council convened on March 6, 2025, to confirm several key personnel appointments that will enhance the city's emergency services. The meeting highlighted the promotions of three dedicated individuals within the fire department, each bringing valuable experience and commitment to their roles.

Christopher Galvin, an emergency medical technician with a bachelor's degree in business administration, was recommended for promotion. His extensive background includes being a paramedic and assisting with COVID-19 response efforts. Bellini's leadership and experience are anticipated to be invaluable as he takes on more responsibilities in his new role.
