A key decision was made to approve a rezoning request from New Seasons Church, allowing the establishment of a child daycare center at 2402 Roxanna Road. This change will enable the facility to serve over 19 clients, expanding its current capacity and providing essential childcare services in the area.

The planning commission recommended the rezoning from R-1 single-family residential to C-5 office-institutional residential, citing that the daycare operation would not adversely affect surrounding properties.
