Ottawa County approves T Mobile lease for Johnson Street Communications Tower

The committee discussed the financial terms of the lease, set at $2,400 per month for a five-year agreement with automatic renewals. In addition to the T-Mobile agreement, the committee also approved a letter of intent to partner with 123Net to pursue BEAD grant funding aimed at expanding reliable broadband infrastructure to underserved areas. The county has previously received funding through the Robin program, which is currently facilitating the installation of 250 miles of new fiber infrastructure.
