Oak Park Board approves new liquor license for Seoul Ave restaurant

In the heart of Oak Park, the Village Board convened on March 11, 2025, under the warm glow of city hall lights, to address key community matters, including the approval of a new liquor license that promises to enhance the local dining scene.

The Liquor Control Review Board had already reviewed the application and recommended its approval, paving the way for the board's decision.

Owner Minasong, an experienced chef with a background in Michelin-starred restaurants, expressed his excitement about bringing authentic Korean cuisine to Oak Park. He shared his vision for the restaurant, emphasizing a commitment to quality and a welcoming atmosphere. The anticipated opening is set for next month, promising to add a vibrant new option for dining in the area.
