KB Home unveils new gated townhome community in Pico Rivera

Under the bright lights of Pico Rivera's city hall, council members gathered to discuss significant developments impacting the community. One of the key topics was the upcoming construction project on Rosemead Boulevard, which is set to be raised by approximately six feet. This project, stretching from just north of Gallatin to a bridge over the dam before reaching Durfee, aims to enhance safety and accessibility in the area. City officials emphasized the importance of distinguishing this project from other ongoing initiatives by LA County, particularly those related to the Complete Streets project further north.

As the meeting progressed, excitement filled the room when Justin Conroe from KB Home took the floor to announce a new housing development. Conroe shared details about a gated community of 45 townhomes, set to celebrate its grand opening this Saturday. The new homes will feature three different floor plans, ranging from 1,560 to 1,700 square feet, with amenities including a park, barbecue pits, and picnic areas designed for family enjoyment.

Conroe invited the community to join the festivities, promising a lively atmosphere with food trucks and a DJ from 11 AM to 2 PM. With property taxes at a competitive rate of 1.1% and a monthly HOA fee of $340 covering maintenance and insurance, the new development aims to provide an attractive living option for residents.
