City Council approves $157K repairs for Floyd Gwynne Pool renovations

The repairs will involve replumbing from the deep end of the pool to the pump house, along with the installation of a chemical automation system. The project is set to commence on April 1 and is expected to be completed within two weeks, ensuring the pool is ready for the summer season.

Council members expressed confidence in the contractor, Commercial Swim, which has a history of successful repairs at the facility. The repairs aim to resolve previous drainage issues that had prevented the pool from opening in 2024.
