Daly City’s Recreation Commission has unveiled an exciting lineup of community events for 2025, promising a year filled with engaging activities for residents of all ages. The commission highlighted its successful annual crab feed at Dolger Senior Center, which sold out, showcasing the community's enthusiasm for local gatherings.
Upcoming events include a friendly basketball tournament between police and fire departments on February 28, aimed at fostering community spirit. March will also feature a Recreation and Resources Day on the 19th, followed by an egg hunt and activities for families.

Subscribe for Free In April, the commission will host an appreciation luncheon for active adult senior volunteers, recognizing their contributions to the community. May will bring Force Fest, celebrating Star Wars Day, alongside a health and wellness fair on the 14th, which will provide valuable resources to the public.
The second annual senior prom is set for May 30, themed as a casino night, promising a fun and elegant evening for seniors. June will kick off with Children's Day, organized in collaboration with Westmore High School students, followed by a backyard barbecue cookout fundraiser for the Build a Dream scholarship fund.
As summer approaches, the SYRP carnival will take place in July, offering a vibrant end-of-summer celebration. The commission is also planning a series of cultural events, including Hip Hop Day in August, Latino Heritage Month in September, and Filipino History Month in October.
The year will conclude with festive events such as the trunk or treat Halloween celebration in late October, Autumn Fest in November, and the Frosty Snow Fest in December, ensuring that Daly City residents have ample opportunities to connect and celebrate throughout the year.
