Walnut Creek Soccer Club secures funding for new all-weather turf fields

In the heart of Walnut Creek, excitement filled the air as the City Council convened to discuss pivotal developments for the community, particularly in youth sports and public safety. The evening began with Steve Chapel, the general manager of the Walnut Creek Soccer Club, expressing his gratitude for the council's support in advancing a significant project at Heather Farm and Tice Fields. Representing over 3,000 children and their families, Chapel highlighted the importance of the new all-weather turf fields, which promise to enhance the club's offerings and ensure playability during inclement weather.
