Humana partners with Assumption Foundation for playground project funding

The Assumption Parish Police Jury convened on December 11, 2024, to discuss a proposed project involving the installation of new playground equipment, funded in part by Humana. Concerns were raised regarding the budget for the playground equipment, which was initially estimated at $43,000 two years ago but has since increased to over $50,000. Humana's contribution is expected to cover this cost, but adjustments may need to be made to the original design if the budget does not align.
