ABRHS students honored for Scholastic Art Awards achievements

During the Acton-Boxborough School Committee meeting on March 13, 2025, a significant highlight was the recognition of three talented student artists from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School (ABRHS) for their achievements in the Scholastic Art Awards. This annual competition celebrates the creativity and skill of young artists, and this year, students Ashley Gu, Nathaniel Kim, and Kenzie Watson were honored for their exceptional work in various artistic disciplines.

Eliza Green and Lori Burns, visual arts teachers at ABRHS, presented the awards, emphasizing the importance of originality and personal expression in the students' artwork. Kenzie Watson received a Silver Key for her sculpture, while Nathaniel Kim earned an Honorable Mention for his ceramics and glass work. Ashley Gu's contributions were also recognized, showcasing the diverse talents within the school's art program.

The meeting also announced an upcoming senior art show at the Village Works Gallery in West Acton, where the works of these students, along with other graduating artists, will be displayed.
