Local leaders push for improved cell service solutions with Verizon and Congressman Ryan

During the recent Town Board meeting in Clinton, NY, officials highlighted the urgent need for improved cell phone service in the area, citing safety concerns and the potential for disaster due to inadequate connectivity. With approximately 50 to 60 pages of documentation to review, the board is preparing to develop a strategic plan, including an "elevator pitch" to engage key stakeholders such as Verizon and Congressman Ryan. The board emphasized their commitment to taking proactive steps to enhance cell service, which they described as "totally awful" and dangerous for residents.

In addition to the cell service discussions, the board briefly touched on other agenda items, including a pending matter with the highway superintendent, which will be revisited next month as more information becomes available.
