Bridal Oak School District reports resignations and retirements of veteran teachers

The Royal Oak School Board meeting on March 13, 2025, highlighted significant personnel changes within the district, including multiple resignations and retirements.

During the meeting, it was reported that there were four resignations, two retirement notifications, and five recommendations for new hires. Notably, Alicia Brown, a medical skills teacher, announced her retirement after 32 years with the district. Brown is a graduate of Kimball High School and has been a dedicated member of the educational community since 1993.

Additionally, Jeff Cousins, a math teacher at Royal Oak Middle School, also notified the board of his retirement. Cousins has served the district for 25 years and is also an alumnus of Kimball High School.
