Kristen, the district’s executive director of communications, told trustees the district dedicated new facilities including Teamer Middle School, Wilson Elementary, Warren Middle School, a refreshed Clay Jones Intermediate School, the Forney High School field house and the North Forney Athletic Complex and Better Life Stadium. Opportunity Central (OC) is fully operational and has hosted more than 150 events, the director said.

The district reported health and safety metrics: campus nurses managed more than 33,000 student clinic visits this semester—returning 94 percent of students to class—and the employee health clinic has recorded over 1,100 visits with nearly 1,000 active patients since opening in August 2024.

Early childhood programming expanded from 18 classrooms to 29 across seven campuses, the update said. The district also rolled out ParentSquare for parent communication and Raptor Technologies for volunteer management.
