In the arts, Forney ISD received the Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction award, placing its visual arts program among the top 5.5% in Texas. The district's thespians excelled at the Texas Thespians State Festival, earning top honors, while various campuses produced successful performances of popular musicals.
Athletics also saw historic milestones, with North Forney volleyball making its first-ever state playoff appearance and multiple water polo teams qualifying for state playoffs. Over 15 student-athletes committed to collegiate sports during the early signing period.
The district emphasized student health and safety, with campus nurses managing over 33,000 clinic visits and returning 94% of students to class. The newly opened employee health clinic has served over 1,100 visits, benefiting staff and their families.
Forney ISD has expanded its early childhood programs significantly, increasing from 18 to 29 classrooms across seven campuses. The launch of ParentSquare for parent communication and Raptor Technologies for volunteer management were also noted as successful initiatives.
