The First Colony Little League also faced challenges with weather but is looking forward to a successful season ahead.
The meeting also touched on the ongoing efforts to activate the Farmers Market, which recently hosted a Lunar New Year celebration featuring a dragon and lion dance troop. This event was well-attended and included activities for children, showcasing the market's role as a vibrant community hub.
Another highlight was the Senior Center's initiatives, including the "Share the Love" wall, where seniors can express messages of appreciation. The center also distributed flowers to 200 members on Valentine's Day, emphasizing the importance of social connections for seniors in the community.
