Alton Bay Christian Conference Center seeks approval for three new cottages

The Alton Bay Christian Conference Center is moving forward with plans to construct three new cottages, following a successful application for a special exception at the recent Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting. David Perrella, the center's agent, presented the case, emphasizing that the project had been previously approved but faced delays due to COVID-19 and inflation.

The cottages, each measuring 20 by 34 feet, will be built in a designated area of the property, adhering to existing zoning regulations. Perrella noted that while some potential cottage owners had to withdraw due to financial constraints, the overall plans remain unchanged. The new construction aims to enhance the retreat center's offerings and accommodate families looking to stay at the facility.
