Erie County forms committee to address fire dispatch concerns amid budget issues

A motion to form a fact-finding committee regarding fire dispatch issues took center stage at the Grand Island Town Board Workshop on March 17, 2025. The proposal, initiated by Erie County Executive Office, aims to address concerns surrounding the local fire dispatch system.

This move comes in light of rising costs associated with dispatch services, which have reached $800,000.
