Planning Commission approves Camby Adult Center renovations with traffic control measures

The Canby Planning Commission convened on March 10, 2025, to discuss several key issues related to local development and infrastructure improvements. The meeting primarily focused on the approval of Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 20-42 for the Canby Adult Center, which included specific conditions aimed at enhancing safety and accessibility in the area.

Commissioner discussions highlighted the need for improved traffic management and pedestrian safety measures. A motion was proposed to implement no parking signage along Territorial Road between Ivy and Holly, repair a damaged sidewalk, and add internal directional striping within the property to guide vehicle flow.
